1. Real Employer Connections & Early Access to Job Opportunities
Become part of Brisbane Olympic Jobs’ dedicated candidate database and receive exclusive early access to selected job opportunities before they are advertised on our public platform.
Where employers or recruiters ask us to nominate potentially suitable candidates, we review your résumé, skills, qualifications and experience against their requirements. Where there is a suitable match, we aim to introduce you to the relevant hiring contact and, with your consent, put you forward for consideration.
Early-access opportunities and introductions depend on available vacancies and employer requirements. Interviews and employment are not guaranteed; hiring decisions remain with the employer or recruiter.
2. Four Weeks’ Car Rental
Your package includes 28 days’ basic hire of a small five-door hatchback through Alpha Car Hire, with its standard liability arrangements. The kilometre allowance, permitted travel area and conditions of use are those specified in your confirmed rental agreement.
You will enter into the rental agreement directly with Alpha Car Hire and must meet its driver eligibility, licence, payment-card and security-bond requirements.
Security bonds, optional insurance or liability-reduction products, vehicle upgrades and additional drivers are arranged directly between you and Alpha Car Hire. These are not included in the BOJ package price.
You are responsible for tolls, fines, fuel, damage liability or excess, and any other applicable rental charges under your agreement with Alpha. Rental-related claims and disputes should be raised directly with Alpha.
The applicable rental terms, bond requirements and standard damage liability will be provided before you commit to the package. Alpha’s terms govern the vehicle hire without limiting your statutory consumer rights or BOJ’s responsibility to deliver the package inclusions expressly promised.
3. One Week’s Accommodation
Your package includes seven consecutive nights’ accommodation from your agreed check-in date, in a private room with a bathroom exclusively for your use, within 15 km of Brisbane CBD.
The property will have a Booking.com guest-review score of at least 7/10 at the time of booking. Accommodation type may vary, provided these minimum standards are met. Meals are not included.
You will be required to sign or electronically accept the accommodation provider’s terms directly. These govern your stay, including check-in and check-out requirements, property rules, security deposits and any additional services.
BOJ covers the included seven-night accommodation cost. Any required security deposit, optional upgrades, additional nights, room service, minibar purchases, damage charges or other incidentals are your responsibility and will be billed or charged directly to you by the accommodation provider under its terms.
The property details, applicable terms and any deposit or payment-card requirements will be disclosed before the accommodation booking is confirmed.
The provider’s terms govern your stay without limiting your statutory consumer rights or BOJ’s responsibility to deliver the package inclusions expressly promised.
4. Airport Pickup & Transfer to Car Hire
Your package includes a one-way transfer from Brisbane Airport to Alpha Car Hire to collect your rental vehicle. This will be provided through either the car hire company’s shuttle service or an alternative transfer arranged by BOJ.
Your confirmed transfer arrangements, including pickup instructions, meeting point and relevant contact details, will be provided before you depart for Australia.
5. First Working Holiday Visa (Subclass 417) – Application & Migration Agent Support
Your package includes the Australian Government visa application charge for your First Working Holiday visa (subclass 417), together with the migration agent’s professional fee to prepare and lodge the application on your behalf.
You will first complete a BOJ preliminary information form, which we forward to VisaGlobe with your consent for an initial assessment. This helps identify potential eligibility concerns, supporting-document requirements and any additional costs before your application proceeds.
Following that assessment, and before application preparation and lodgement, you will sign or electronically accept VisaGlobe’s service agreement and applicable terms and conditions. You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information and the documents requested by the migration agent.
VisaGlobe handles the professional migration advice, assessment and lodgement. BOJ coordinates the process, tracks progress and keeps you informed, with your consent. Once the official visa outcome is confirmed, we help coordinate the next steps in your relocation.
Any required medical examinations, police or criminal-history certificates, document translations or services outside the agreed application scope are payable separately by you. Additional professional services and fees must be explained and agreed with you before that work proceeds.
An initial assessment confirming that your application can proceed is not a visa approval. Visa decisions are made by the Australian Government, and approval cannot be guaranteed.
6. Expand Your Work Options – White Card Training
Give yourself greater flexibility when exploring work opportunities in Australia, whether you arrive with a particular career in mind or want to consider different industries during your working holiday.
Your package includes White Card training through a Registered Training Organisation. This general construction safety induction covers workplace safety responsibilities, common hazards and risk controls, helping you meet an essential requirement for undertaking construction work.
On successful completion of the training and assessment, you will receive your General Construction Induction Training Card, commonly known as a White Card and recognised throughout Australia.
BOJ coordinates your enrolment and course arrangements. While a White Card is not required for every industry, it provides an additional credential if you choose to pursue construction opportunities during your stay. Individual roles may require further qualifications, licences or site-specific inductions.
7. Australian Résumé Review & Preparation
Present your skills and experience clearly and confidently to Australian employers.
Your package includes a review and update of your existing résumé, with improvements to its wording, structure and presentation for your intended roles in Australia. We highlight your relevant experience, qualifications and achievements so employers can readily understand what you bring to their team.
You provide your current résumé and accurate details of your work history and qualifications. We use this information to prepare an updated résumé for your review and use in job applications.
8. Targeted Job Opportunities & Alerts
Keep your job search focused with alerts tailored to your skills, experience, preferred roles and locations.
Using the information you provide, BOJ identifies potentially relevant vacancies and sends you job details and application links as opportunities become available. This helps you discover roles that align with your interests and take the next step directly with the employer or recruiter.
Alerts depend on available vacancies and your stated preferences. You remain responsible for reviewing each role’s requirements and submitting your application. Interviews and employment are not guaranteed.
9. Australian Superannuation Setup Assistance & Mail Support
Get practical, in-person assistance with setting up your Australian superannuation account as you settle into working life in Australia.
BOJ provides access to an office and someone to assist you with completing the online application for your chosen superannuation fund. You remain in control of your account, make your own fund and investment choices, and review and submit your application.
For the first three months after arrival, we also provide a correspondence address for superannuation paperwork, where accepted by your fund. We securely hold mail received for you, notify you when it arrives and arrange collection or agreed forwarding.
Our assistance covers the administrative setup process and mail coordination. Financial advice, fund recommendations and investment selection are outside the scope of this service.
10. Australian Tax File Number (TFN) Application Assistance
Get practical, in-person support with your TFN application as you settle into working life in Australia.
BOJ provides access to an office and someone to assist you with navigating and completing the Australian Taxation Office’s application process. You provide your own information, review the details and submit the application yourself.
For the first three months after arrival, we also provide a correspondence address for receiving your TFN letter, where accepted by the ATO. We securely hold your mail unopened, notify you when it arrives and arrange collection or agreed forwarding.
Your package includes BOJ’s administrative assistance and mail support. The ATO controls processing and issuance, so delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.
11. Australian Bank Account Setup Assistance
Get practical, in-person support with opening an Australian bank account so you can receive wages and manage everyday payments as you settle in.
BOJ provides access to an office and someone to assist you with navigating the application process for your chosen bank. You select your account, provide your own information and complete any required identity checks directly with the bank.
For the first three months after arrival, we also provide a correspondence address for banking paperwork, where accepted by your bank. We securely hold your mail unopened, notify you when it arrives and arrange collection or agreed forwarding. This is a mailing address and does not replace any residential-address information the bank requires.
You retain sole control of your account, passwords, PINs and security codes. BOJ’s service covers administrative assistance and mail coordination; account approval, fees and conditions are determined by your chosen bank.
12. Australian Mobile Number, SIM & Setup Assistance
Get connected with an Australian mobile number so you can speak with employers, manage everyday arrangements and stay in touch as you settle in.
Your package includes a physical SIM or, for compatible devices, an eSIM, together with an initial 28-day prepaid allowance for calls, texts and mobile data.
BOJ provides in-person activation assistance at our office, with access to Wi-Fi and a computer where needed. We help you complete the setup in your own name and check that the service is working on your phone.
The provider, included allowances and expiry details will be confirmed before activation. You will need a compatible, unlocked phone and must complete the provider’s identification requirements and accept its terms.
Any subsequent recharges, upgrades, roaming or additional usage costs are your responsibility and are paid directly to the mobile provider.
13. Before-You-Fly Relocation Planning
Prepare for your move with a clear plan for your arrival and first week in Australia.
Your package includes a pre-departure call with BOJ and a personalised checklist covering the documents to bring, your confirmed accommodation, airport transfer to car hire, vehicle collection requirements and arrangements for your initial setup appointments.
We bring these details together so you know where to go, what to have ready and who to contact. The call also provides an opportunity to ask practical questions and identify any outstanding arrangements before you travel.
Your checklist and relevant booking and contact details will be provided before departure, helping you arrive informed, organised and ready to settle in.
14. Personal Tax Support & First Australian Tax Return
Feel more confident navigating Australian tax with a personal introduction to our partner tax and accounting firm. Their personalised approach and longstanding experience supporting Irish visa holders mean you can speak with a team familiar with the questions that come with starting work and settling into Australia.
Your package includes an initial consultation to discuss your personal Australian tax circumstances, together with preparation and lodgement of your first Australian individual income tax return through a registered tax agent.
All professional fees for these included services are covered by your BOJ package, with no additional service fees payable by you.
You will enter into an engagement agreement directly with our partner firm and accept its applicable terms. The firm provides the professional advice and handles your tax return, while you supply complete and accurate information and supporting documents.
This inclusion covers your personal tax affairs only. Company formation, business or sole-trader accounting, business registrations, subsequent tax returns and other services outside the included scope are excluded. Any additional work and fees must be explained and agreed directly with you before that work proceeds.
Our partner firm will help you claim any deductions and tax offsets you’re entitled to and explain the outcome of your return. You may receive a tax refund, depending on your circumstances and the tax already paid. Any tax payable remains your responsibility.
15. Ongoing Australian Support & Community Connections
Settle into life in Australia knowing you have a familiar point of contact.
For the first three months after your arrival, BOJ provides practical settling-in support, assistance coordinating your included package services and connections to relevant providers where needed.
We also help you explore Irish community groups, local GAA clubs, social groups and activities that match your interests—giving you opportunities to meet people, build friendships and feel more at home.
Whether you have a question about your arrangements or want help finding your feet socially, we’re here to support you through those early months.
Important Package Information
- The package price is €5,950 per person.
- The three-month limit applies to settling-in support and the stated correspondence-address services after arrival.
- The included first Australian tax return remains a separate benefit and is not removed when the three-month support period ends.
- Third-party providers may have their own eligibility requirements, agreements and terms.
- Any additional services or charges outside the stated inclusions must be explained and agreed before proceeding.
