About the Role
The Manager, Athlete Relations and Experience will report to the Chief Sport Officer and forms part of the Sport and Athlete Division.
This role is focussed on developing and maintaining strong relationships with domestic and international athletes and their representative bodies, on behalf of the Brisbane 2032 Organising Committee. This role is integral to the early involvement and participation of athletes in the success of the Games and plays an important representation role in multiple forums.
The role requires a strategic approach, strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills and the ability to work across multiple groups simultaneously, always prioritising the athlete experience. A critical element of the role is the active engagement with the Brisbane 2032 Athlete and Sport Advisory Group, the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC), Paralympics Australia (PA) and their respective Athletes’ Commissions.
