Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
• Coordinating international air and sea freight shipments
• Communicating with clients and overseas agents
• Liaising with shipping lines, airlines, depots, transport providers and other service partners
• Monitoring shipments and ensuring cargo progresses through the supply chain within required timeframes
• Providing proactive shipment updates to clients
• Managing client order and shipment status reports
• Lodging Air and Sea Cargo Reports
• Qualifying, accruing and processing supplier invoices
• Managing and developing relationships with assigned key customers and relevant contacts within their businesses
• Identifying and resolving operational issues before they impact the customer

Requirements

What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in international freight forwarding
• A strong commitment to customer service
• A professional and positive attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills
• The ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive approach to problem-solving
• The ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
• A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within the business
• CargoWise experience is highly desirable
