About the role
We’re seeking a Contract & Events Manager to combine oversight of the QLD RVM Cleaning Network with the planning, scheduling and management of Clean Vibes’ events and venue contracts across QLD. This leadership role is responsible for the profitable, compliant and high-quality delivery of both portfolios, building strong client relationships, and leading a dynamic field team across multiple QLD zones and event sites. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you’ll drive operational and financial performance, meet KPIs, and strengthen client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
• Oversee delivery of all RVM site cleaning and event/venue services across QLD in line with contractual obligations and agreed service levels.
• Develop operational plans, rosters and Event Management Plans that provide cost-effective, efficient service delivery.
• Monitor daily operations, coordinating supervisors and event teams to maintain consistency and quality across all sites.
• Manage contract KPIs (quality, timeliness, safety, customer satisfaction) and take accountability for all contracts and events in your portfolio.
• Act as primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders across the RVM network and events portfolio.
• Attend regular client meetings, provide service updates, and build relationships that support contract longevity.
• Lead, roster and mentor Area Supervisors, Team Leaders, Cleaning Operators and event staff.
• Support recruitment, induction, training and performance management in line with Clean Vibes policies and WHS standards.
• Ensure compliance with Clean Vibes’ IMS and ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards; conduct site/event audits and safety reviews.
• Manage incident reports, risk assessments and corrective actions, promoting a strong safety culture.
Requirements
About you
• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar contract, operations or events management role (cleaning, waste, or facilities preferred).
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale contracts and/or events, preferably government or public infrastructure.
• Strong operational leadership across multi-site cleaning, waste management, facilities or events environments.
• High-level understanding of contract/event management, compliance and client reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, organisational and financial management skills.
• Proficient in digital tools for reporting, rostering and compliance tracking (e.g. Clean Vibes App, Monday.com, MS Office).
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (essential).
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and ISO/WHS training desirable.
