Advisor (Procurement)

Job Description

As part of the project procurement team, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end procurement activities and providing high-quality procurement advice across a complex infrastructure environment. Working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and contractors, you will help ensure procurement outcomes are achieved in accordance with Queensland Government policies, frameworks and best practice principles.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
– Support and coordinate end-to-end procurement activities across the project.
– Provide timely, professional and strategic procurement advice to stakeholders, clients and suppliers.
– Prepare procurement documentation, reports, reconciliations, briefs and performance updates.
– Develop expertise in TMR source-to-pay systems, including Fieldglass.
– Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance procurement outcomes.
– Support and mentor Contract Administrators in day-to-day procurement activities.
– Ensure procurement practices align with the Queensland Procurement Policy and departmental requirements.
