Job Description

Project Overview

Downer’s Rail & Transit Systems (RTS) is the leading rail business in Australia, with expertise in delivering whole-of-life asset management support to our customers. With over 155 years of rail experience, we deliver innovative transport solutions that keep communities moving.

We are proud to be delivering the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP), which involves the design, manufacture and maintenance of 65 new six‐car passenger trains to support Cross River Rail and the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games. These trains will be built at a purpose‐built facility in Torbanlea on the Fraser Coast.

Key Responsibilities

Interviews for these opportunities will commence in October 2025, with the first roles scheduled to begin on site from early 2026. New roles will start throughout the year at Torbanlea.
