The Senior Human Resources Officer is primarily responsible for the delivery of key workforce activities as QAS embeds its operating model as a statutory body. Initially leading the implementation of a new learning management system, to ensure a smooth transition for the organisation and its people.
Working closely with leaders and stakeholders, you will help ensure HR systems, services and governance are implemented effectively, risks are managed, and people practices support capability, accountability and a high-performance culture.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Lead and coordinate the final delivery of the project establishing HR systems and services to support QAS as a statutory body.
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of a new Learning Management System (LMS), including stakeholder engagement, vendor selection, system configuration, change management, and successful organisational rollout.
• Lead a review of mandatory training courses to ensure alignment with legislative, regulatory, and organisational requirements, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures and governance to meet statutory and industrial requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders to build HR capability and embed a high-performance culture through sound people practices, coaching and constructive feedback.
• Deliver responsive, customer-focused HR services, using data and feedback to improve processes, service quality and employee experience.
• Support HR reporting, records and risk management activities to ensure accurate documentation, effective controls and audit readiness.
